LED VFD and LCD pocket calculators

Elektronika was the russian company which produced the pocket calculators in the 70s and the 80s They also made some desk top models.
This pocket calculator has a green VFD screen. It is a basic calculator. Unfortunately I don't know if it works, as I don't have the special adapter and the 3 AA batteries I have put them in but it hasn't given a positive reaction.
This item is in a good optical condition.
